Aga Kehinde - EFT Support for CancerCancer affects so many lives in so many ways and we can readily understand how EFT can help support patients, their carers, family and friends. But doctors, nurses, physios, and other clinical staff are affected by cancer above and beyond the usual ''NHS stress'', ''winter pressure'' and ''Covid''. They need EFT too. Aga's personal story is of a clinical cancer nurse specialist experiencing burn out and compassion fatigue then finding EFT and becoming a fully integrated, holistic practitioner. Aga now uses EFT for her patients, herself and her NHS colleagues. In her cancer coaching she uses EFT as a stand alone modality and advocates for EFT to be used by cancer coaches as a regulation technique for better session outcomes. Aga will share patients stories showing how EFT supports patients at different stages of their cancer experience: diagnosis, during treatment, end of treatment and end of life. | Aga Kehinde |
Gillian Watt - Canine EFTGillian grew up in rural Aberdeenshire, visiting farms with her dad, a vet, from a very young age so that she was closely involved with farm animals and her varied menagerie of horses, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits! She was intrigued and excited to learn that EFT could be used to help animals and set up a session with Gwyneth for her stepmum’s dog Hamish. Talking as Hamish came easily and she was hooked. Her own clients now include various dogs, small animals and horses, as well as Walter the llama! Working with animals and their humans requires a complete lack of ego, complete honesty and an open mind from both the practitioner and the animal’s human. Gaining confidence in our innate intuitive abilities can take time but we can all work with animals, as long as we come out of our heads and into our hearts. | Gillian Watt |
Gwyneth Moss - Emotional WoundsEmotional wounds form when in the face of threat or perception of danger, there is nothing we can do and no one to support. Though we may survive the incident the wound can remain unhealed and leak the fear, anger and intense emotions of the moment. Emotional wounds are like physical wounds. When they are cleaned and protected they heal. If they are covered up without cleaning they fester. But what do we do when a wound is too painful to touch and attempting to clean it could result in overwhelm and shock. How do we gently approach and when do we need to be precision and persistence. Gwyneth introduces the metaphor of Emotional Wound Management to explain how emotional wounds form and to illustrate how to apply the four phases of EFT so that wounds can heal themselves | Gwyneth Moss |
Linda Wood - Letting Go, Holding OnAt every life transition we must let go of the old in order to open to the new. But often we get stuck between the holding on and letting go. The issues may involve things such as holding onto houses, jobs, people, pets and even clothes that no longer fit. What is it that is keeping us stuck? Linda Wood developed the elegantly simple and effective EFT Quadrants process to use when we are stuck between what we want and what we fear about wanting and receiving that. Linda will demonstrate how her EFT Quadrants process can ease the duality and break open the subconscious fears so that life and its transitions can flow. | Linda Wood |
